Posted by R_hamet on September 30, 2008 #53404 I was searching for my grandfather's life and heritage. My father said he was from Dayr Dibwan and owned an olive grove which was later lost. Of course his name was changed by the Ellis Island people that didn't respect his heritage. The country looks wonderful. Thanks for the pictures.

I never felt like i was at home till i steped into falasteen. I loved everything about it. The people, fresh air, Fruit trees.....
