If you are aware of any potential refugees from other towns whom we can interview in Jordan, please contact Mr. Rakan Mahmoud at +962-79-661-5275 with your information. Currently, we are pressed hard to interview people from towns that we have not yet covered, your help is CRITICAL since time is our main enemy.
Help preserving our history and culture for future generations. To make it easier on you, we have authored a training manual and a list of questions. We suggest studying these two documents carefully, then use any available technology (such as video camera, digital recorder, or even regular tap recorder) to retain Nakba Oral History as much as you can. Once done, we will be more than happy to post your work at the site after crediting you completely for your work.
We are in need of people who have the time and patience to carefully listen to what is spoken in the interviews, and to rephrase it to traditional Arabic (Fus-haa). Then the manuscript has to be typed in Arabic text, which later should be translated to English. It should be noted that you will be COMPLETELY credited and your work shall be published next to each transcribed interview.

Dear listners for Sami Baydas interview My mother is daughter of Abed Alqader Baydas,Sami Baydas must be sure of what he say it through his interview. Some wrong information (Sami Baydas)provide it for Mr Fawaz salameh through the interview. He said in the interview that my Brother (Khalil Ibrahim Abukhail)was killed by the revelution people on 1936,the correct information which every one in Shekh Munes know and my mother told me it ,that my brother was killed in a gun shooting by a British police man and the revelution people killed this police man. I am sure such wrong information which Sami Baydas provide in the interview will bring bad reputation for my died brother and for me also. I know vey very well history of Baydas family,please read what Hanna Abu Eid wrote and ask much from Shekh Munes about Baydas family,to know what are Baydas faily is .[lease read what Hanna Abu Eid wrote about them.
