Posted by Nabeel Tinah on January 8, 2007 #12485 بمراجعةوالدتي الحاجة ام نبيل (خديجة محمد يوسف عليان طينه) فلقد اخبرتني بأن المنطقة الظاهرة في خلف الصورة من الجهة الجنوبية وهي الطريق بين القدس ويافا كانت مصيدة لقوافل الصهانية والتي كانت تدخل من باب الواد والذي يظهر في الجانب اليسار الخلفي للصورة. وقد كان الثوار الفلسطينيين في ذلك الوقت يتخذون من القرية ملجأ لهم ولذلك فلقد تم تدمير اجزاء من القرية في عهد الانتداب البريطاني.ولقد كان باب الواد هو المدخل الوحيد للصهاينة من الجهة الغربية.

Posted by Nabeel Tinah on January 7, 2007 #12468 هذه الصورة مأخوذه من الجهة الشمالية للقرية (من ظهر يالو)ويظهر من الجهة الجنوبية خلف الصورة طريق القدس يافا والتي كانت في سنة 1965 وقت الصورة موجودة في منطقة الفصل وكانت هذه الطريق تستخدم فقط لفرق الامم المتحدة. اما في الوقت الحالي فهذه الطريق هي الطريق الرئيسي بين القدس وتل ابيب. البيوت الظاهرة كلها هدمت ويظهر ذلك في الصور اللاحقة.
